Past results.
Any reference on this site to past case results, settlements, or verdicts is illustrative. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future case. Every case involves unique facts, applicable law, venue, and other variables, and your case may produce different results.
Fee arrangements.
We typically represent clients on a contingency fee basis — no attorney's fee is owed unless there is a recovery on your behalf. The specific percentage and terms are set out in the written engagement agreement. Clients remain responsible for costs of litigation as specified in the engagement, although we typically advance those costs during the case.
Jurisdictional limitations.
InjuredCrew attorneys are licensed to practice law in specific jurisdictions. We handle maritime cases nationally through admission pro hac vice, association with local counsel, or direct bar admission as appropriate. Our willingness and ability to take a case depend on jurisdiction, licensing, conflicts of interest, case type, and other factors.
